The terms governing your use of Enhance Finance.
Last updated: March 2, 2026By purchasing, copying, accessing, or using Enhance Finance (the "Product"), you ("you," "your," or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use the Product.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Enhance Finance ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), a sole proprietorship operating from Ontario, Canada.
These Terms apply to the Enhance Finance Google Sheets template, all associated Google Apps Scripts, AI-powered features, the Enhance Finance website (enhancefinance.ca), and any related services.
Enhance Finance is a personal finance tracking system delivered as a Google Sheets template. The Product provides automated transaction importing, rule-based and AI-powered categorization, financial dashboards, merchant insights, and yearly budgeting tools.
The Product is delivered as a Google Sheets file. Upon purchase, you receive a link to make a copy of the template to your own Google Drive. The Product requires a free Google account and access to Google Sheets to function.
The Product is available in multiple tiers, some of which include AI-powered features and some of which do not. The specific features included in your purchase depend on the tier selected at the time of purchase.
You may not:
Enhance Finance is sold through the Etsy marketplace. All purchases are processed by Etsy in accordance with Etsy's own terms of service, payment processing policies, and buyer protection programs.
Upon completed purchase, you will receive a digital download containing a link to copy the Enhance Finance template to your Google Drive. Delivery is instant and automated through Etsy's digital delivery system.
Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Etsy at the time of checkout based on your jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing purchases or active license keys.
AI-enabled product versions include one (1) license key that provides access to AI Features for a period of one (1) year from the date of activation. The license key is tied to a single Google account and a single copy of the Enhance Finance spreadsheet.

After the initial one-year period, AI Features may be renewed at the then-current annual renewal price (currently $12 USD/year). Renewal is entirely optional. If you choose not to renew:
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all Enhance Finance purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Product for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.
Contact us through Etsy Messages or email us at hello@enhancefinance.ca within 7 days of purchase. Include your Etsy order number. Refunds are processed through Etsy's refund system and typically appear within 3–5 business days.
Annual AI license key renewals are non-refundable once the renewal key has been activated. You may contact us before activating a renewal key to request a refund.
You agree to use Enhance Finance solely for lawful personal finance management purposes. You may not:
Violation of acceptable use terms may result in revocation of your license key without refund.
The Enhance Finance name, logo (four-leaf clover design), branding, website content, spreadsheet design, Google Apps Script code, formulas, and all associated documentation are the intellectual property of Enhance Finance and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
The Product may include third-party components (Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, Anthropic Claude API) that are subject to their own terms and licenses. Your use of these components is governed by their respective terms.
User-generated content (your financial data, custom categories, notes, and modifications to your copy) remains your intellectual property.
Enhance Finance operates within Google Sheets and depends on Google's platform and services. You acknowledge that:
We will make reasonable efforts to update the Product in response to platform changes, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with all future changes to third-party services.
THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ENHANCE FINANCE, ITS OWNER, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
AI-powered categorization, insights, and recommendations are generated by a third-party artificial intelligence system (Anthropic Claude). AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, misclassifications, or errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated outputs before relying on them for any financial decisions. AI Features are provided as a convenience tool, not as a substitute for your own judgment.
The Product is a personal finance tracking and budgeting tool designed to help you organize and visualize your own financial data. All outputs, insights, and recommendations are informational and educational in nature only. You should:
We are not registered as a financial advisor, investment advisor, tax preparer, or any other regulated financial services provider in any jurisdiction.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Enhance Finance, its owner, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:
You may stop using the Product at any time by deleting your copy of the spreadsheet and removing your license key. No notice to us is required.
We may revoke your AI license key if you materially violate these Terms, including but not limited to redistribution of the Product, sharing of license keys, or abusive use of AI Features. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before revocation, except in cases of severe or urgent violations.
Upon termination of your AI license key:
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email (if we have your email address) or by posting a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Product after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may stop using the Product.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Product shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived or limited by contract.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
